, to "Rosige Zeiten"—a vacation at the half-timbered farmstead! We rent out our historic, lovingly renovated half-timbered farmhouse from 1600, located in the historic center of Kommern. The enclosed courtyard, terrace, and garden provide the perfect setting for relaxation and rest. We’ve furnished our little cottage with carefully selected antique furniture that offers every comfort. The unique decor creates a cozy atmosphere that takes your mind off the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Low ceilings, crooked walls and floors, and steep stairs are all part of the character of a half-timbered house. Watch your head! Our small cottage offers 75 square meters of living space. The first floor features a kitchen, a living room with a wood-burning stove, and a bathroom. The first floor has three bedrooms. One has a double bed, while the other two each have a single bed. We do not recommend this cottage for children under 4 years of age.
Outside, there is an additional restroom that is available for use in the summer. From the courtyard, you can access the patio with an adjoining garden. There are plenty of places to sit and a fire pit at your disposal. There’s also a patio umbrella and a grill. Bicycles can be locked up in the stable. You can park your car in the courtyard or across the bridge under the willow tree.

Our vacation home awaits you, equipped with towels and freshly made beds. The pink and green rooms each have a single bed. You’ll find a hair dryer in the bathroom as well as firewood for the stove in the living room. Eifel crime novels and other reading material are available for you to browse through.
